Summer Camps. In collaboration with Easter Seals of Nebraska we will be holding our second year of summer camps for children with autism. Our inaugural camps last year were a big success, a fun experience for our kids and respite for our parents.

"We are delighted at the continuing partnership between Easter Seals Nebraska and the Autism Action Partnership to provide a fun adapted camp option for children within the autism spectrum."
Karen Carlson, Easter Seals Nebraska President & CEO

"I wanted to thank you for the great time Tyler had at camp. It was fun to see how thrilled and excited he was to tell and show us what he had done. It was great for all three of us."

Increasing Awareness. This past April we helped sponsor the first Annual Autism Society of Nebraska "Puzzle Walk" at the Chalco Hills Recreation Area in Omaha. The event was an opportunity for the community to learn about autism, talk to service providers and raise money for families in Nebraska who are touched by autism. Over 420 participants joined us for the event, which raised over $34,000.

Annual Summit. We sponsor an annual education summit attended by hundreds of parents, educators and health care professionals. This October, the summit will feature Dr. Tony Atwood, an internationally-known expert on Asperger's Syndrome.

"Thank you so much for your grant which allowed my husband and me to attend the Summit. Our son was recently diagnosed with autism, and your help allowed both of us to learn invaluable information to help our son and others in the community. Thanks to you our hearts are filled with hope for his future."
