The Arc of Nebraska is committed to helping children and adults with disabilities secure the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live, work and play.

The Autism Center of Nebraska (ACN) is a nonprofit organization serving people with autism and pervasive developmental disorders. Founded in March 2006 by parents with an autistic daughter, the Autism Center of Nebraska opened its doors to provide support to the autistic community and their families. Supporting services include habilitation, day services, respite and transportation.

The Autism Family Network of Lincoln, NE is a parent support group that conducts informational meetings as well as recreational activities for families with individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

This site, maintained by the Autism Society of America, provides general information about autism spectrum disorders, as well as information about various educational and treatment approaches. The site also contains links to a wide variety of resources including an on-line course on autism.
